Grown, milled, and packaged on our farm. Made from 100% rye grain, our flour is pure, natural, and completely additive-free. This flour is made from the variety Performer, chosen for its superior grain size. With a rich flavour, it’s perfect for bakers who enjoy a dense, rustic loaf with a bold taste and full-bodied character.

 

Dark Rye is ideal for sourdough baking, whether you're feeding a starter or creating traditional rye breads. While it shines in hearty, full-flavoured loaves, blending it with other bread flours can help lighten the crumb for a more balanced texture. This flour is 100% wholemeal, meaning it retains all the natural goodness of the grain. High in fibre (13.4g per 100g) and offering 7.8g of protein per 100g, it brings both nutrition and character.

 

Best used within 6 months of milling. Store in a cool, dry place.
