Having tried and tested all of the flours we have found that our strong bread flour is ideal for making pizzas with.


To ensure your pizza base cooks in the centre place a baking tray in the top of your oven to allow it to heat up, then once your pizza is ready to cook place it on the hot tray and this will help it cook in the centre.


If you are cooking in an Aga then place your pizza on the baking tray on the bottom of the oven to help the base cook.


If you have too much topping on your pizza this may mean that the base won’t cook as well in the centre. If the topping is cooked but your base still requires some cooking then cover it with some tin foil and allow the base to cook for a little longer.
